ATLANTA (Jan. 4, 2017) – Bisnow, which completely disrupted the delivery of commercial real estate news, is about to do it again.
Starting immediately, Bisnow’s content – about 150 stories a day – will be posted on Forbes.com and Huffington Post online. This new alliances means up to 100 million people will be able to access Bisnow’s CRE news.
Here’s the official memo Bisnow’s editor-in-chief sent to its staffers this morning:
Expanding our reach is at the heart and mission of Bisnow. And in an effort to strengthen that vital muscle, we are joining the forces of two of international media’s most vital and well-read outlets: Forbes and The Huffington Post.
That alliance takes shape today in the form of two syndication deals that will give our content the potential to reach upwards of 100 million readers around the world. Though Bisnow is far from unique in forging syndication partnerships, this represents a coming age that gives our team a crucial opportunity to wade into a deeper pool.
For the next 90 days we will unleash the full firehouse of all of Bisnow.com’s content (about 150 stories every 24 hours) onto the Forbes and Huffington Post websites. The aim is twofold. First, we want to raise our profile as an indomitable source of global commercial real estate news and intelligence. And second, we want to see if we can siphon new audiences from the referral links we implant on all of the content we serve to these two publications.
This is a bold experiment, and we will need help. That’s why I am also excited to announce that Aziz Adib joins us today as an Editorial Intern to help lead these efforts. A senior at New York University, Aziz is seeking an impressive double major in journalism and urban design & architecture. It’s the perfect combination.
Please join me in welcoming Aziz to the team, and thanking all who made these opportunities possible — Michael Vigario, Javier Bautista, Nicole Caracci, Will Friend and Francesco Decamilli.
