Open up the champagne, pop!
It’s my house, come on, turn it up
Hear a knock on the door and the night begins
Cause we done this before so you come on in
Make yourself at my home, tell me where you been
Pour yourself something cold, baby, cheers to this
Brookwood Hills, the tony enclave of homes tucked behind the soon-to-be demolished strip centers along Peachtree in south Buckhead, is worried that a new nightclub will pop up in the former Lusca spot.
The neighborhood’s powerful board is alerting its members that Haus wants to open at 1829 Peachtree – and that it could be a nightclub disguised as an F&B establishment.
Still, the HAUS logo already has been painted on the exterior, and the space appears to be in the build-out phase.
Interestingly, a major concern is that HAUS would be open till 3 a.m. How will Atlanta ever become a true 24-hour city if I can’t buy a drink at 2:45 a.m.?
Fair disclosure: I am a member of the Brookwood Hills Community Club. I have no problem with Haus’ late-night party plans.
