ATLANTA (Aug. 31, 2015) – Cushman & Wakefield’s Atlanta office is returning to Midtown, its home for several decades before it headed downtown to Allen Plaza for a stint.
We hear some top brokers will make the move from 55 Allen Plaza to 171 17th Street, Atlantic Station’s first office tower and home to Wells Fargo, tomorrow morning. The move makes sense, given that Cushman & Wakefield is now part of DTZ’s growing brokerage empire and has some nice digs n the 14th floor of the 171 building.
The 14th floor used to be part of the headquarters of Carter before Carter sold its brokerage business unit to Cassidy Turley, which in turn was gobbled up by DTZ. Carter remained on the 12th floor. Carter was the first client of The Wilbert Group and helped us get started.
So much so, that Carter housed what was then known as Wilbert News Strategies from May 2009-March 2011. Our ties to Atlantic Station remain in tact. The Wilbert Group is the agency of record for owner North American Properties – Atlanta and does work for CBRE Global Investors.
